Questions to Ask Yourself
Haven’t you had enough of “Check the Box” initiatives that do not positively contribute to the organization?
Whenever a company is implementing a new program, a change in policy or process, or a different procedure; there will be some resistance to the change. Unfortunately, if the company is not committed to the new change, it will soon wither and die and people will return to the old ways of doing things. All too often, companies will put on their list of things to accomplish a new initiative that allows them to say, “we did it,” and move on to the next half-hearted implementation effort.
For any change to occur, it must be reinforced, has to have executive buy-in, and those tasked with executing it must see how they stand to benefit by the change in order for them to commit to supporting, rather than derailing the change.
